Excursion Bjarnarhöfn shark farm and helgafell tour at Stykkisholmur

From the outside, admire the farmers' church built in 1856, and explore an unconventional maritime museum that showcases, among other exhibits, large pieces of fermenting shark meat.

After this experience and following a brief transfer, you will continue to the nearby Mount Helgafell. Those who are willing and able to ascend this hillock can adhere to a few simple guidelines to have three wishes granted, as per local legend. This stop is steeped in local history and charm. Even those who prefer not to climb will enjoy listening to the guide recount stories of local heroines and the spiritual connections tied to this sacred site. We will then make our way back to Stykkishólmur.
