Drive to Berlin

Depart the pier via coach for the scenic, approximately three-hour drive to Berlin via the North German countryside. Your escort provides informational material, city maps, and advice and directions in-transit.

Time at Leisure in Berlin

Upon arrival in Berlin, start your exploration of the city from Gendarmenmarkt Square (City Centre East) which offers easy access in all directions. Your pick-up time is provided as you depart the coach.

Return Drive to Warnemunde

Following your independent exploration of Berlin, please return to the pick-up point 15 minutes prior to departure, as the coach is not permitted to wait. Your day will conclude with the approximately three-hour return transfer to the ship in Warnemünde.

Please note: This is a transfer to Berlin, where a moderate amount of walking is required to see the sights.  Guests with limited mobility and those who utilize a wheelchair must be able to negotiate two-three steps to get on/off the coach without assistance.  The escort is not a guide but offers information and advice on the coach only and does not accompany you in Berlin.  The driving distance between the pier in Warnemünde and Berlin city is approximately 3 hours in each direction and traffic can affect duration.  A restroom stop will be made en route to Berlin.  Please bring Euros for any personal expenses.  It is recommended to dress warm, layered clothing according to weather conditions and wear flat, comfortable shoes and bring raingear in case of inclement weather.
