From the pier, begin your journey with an hour drive toward the stunning landscapes of Paradise Valley, where the city scenery gradually gives way to open countryside dotted with mountains, tiny streams, and deep gorges. Upon arrival, learn about the local flora, fauna, and natural history while enjoying several opportunities for memorable photos among palm groves and dramatic limestone formations.

Alma Village, Argan Trees & Oil Demonstration

After exploring the valley, continue with a short drive to Alma Village, a serene community known for its abundance of aromatic plants used for artisanal essential-oil extraction. Here, you will also learn about Morocco’s indigenous argan trees, renowned for producing one of the world’s rarest and most valuable oils thanks to their deep roots and long lifespan.

Berber Cooking Experience

Your hands-on culinary experience begins with a Berber cooking class where you will prepare a traditional tagine using fresh regional ingredients and natural spices. After the lesson, enjoy the flavorful tagine you’ve created, served alongside Moroccan salad, seasonal fruit, mint tea, mineral water, and freshly squeezed orange juice.

At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your minivan for a short drive back to the pier, passing through small local towns and quiet rural landscapes along the way.

Please Note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking of approximately 0.6 miles (1 km) over hilly, uneven terrain with numerous stairs, particularly during the descent into Paradise Valley, and is therefore not suitable for wheelchair users or guests with mobility limitations. This experience operates in the morning only and may be affected by weather conditions such as heavy rain or flooding. Vegetarian requests can be accommodated; however, kosher meals are not available. Photography and videography are permitted throughout the itinerary except in military or police areas.
