Excursion Queilen and isla conejos tour at Castro

See the striped Magellan penguins at Isla Conejos. Leave the pier and head south to Queilen, one of the small towns that composes the Chiloé island.
Board a private boat and navigate to Isla Conejos (one hour in each direction), where a colony of Magellan penguins live. On the way it is possible to observe dolphins, sea lions, and different types of birds. After the observing the penguins from the island (no landing) navigation back to Queilen.
Embark on your return transfer to the pier.

Please note: Walking is mostly optional on this trip, making it suitable for individuals with walking difficulties; note however that there will be some uneven walking surfaces at the town and some steps to enter the churches. Weather is unpredictable in Chiloé, with some showers to be expected at any time of year. It is recommended to wear warm layered clothing, and a waterproof windbreaker jacket along with sturdy walking shoes. Wildlife sightings likely but not guaranteed.
