Leave the pier by coach for the 30-minute drive northward to Caldera de Bandama.

Make a photo stop above this ancient crater formed five thousand million years ago in the Pico de Bandama volcano. The crater is 216 meters deep, 574 meters high and 1,000 meters wide, and contains a rich variety of volcanic ash and botanic species.

Head back to Las Palmas for you to visit the old town of Vegueta, with more than 500 years of history, declared a National Historical Artistic Site in April 1973, its amazing streets reflect the passed through of pirates, warriors and residents whose stories have left their mark in each corner. Your guide will take you on a discovering walking tour through some of the highlights of this town, such as Casa de Colon historic mansion where - as its name suggests - Columbus is believed to have stayed in 1492 outward bound on his epic voyage, the Santa Ana Cathedral, the Literary Cabinet and the town hall. Enjoy some free time in Vegueta neighborhood before returning to the coach for the 20-minute drive back to the pier.
